It is a time of celebration!  Come join us for the occasion of the sophomore book release of Joan-Lisa Shinault's book Friday evening, enjoy an evening of scrumptious food and mocktails, catered by Garden City Caterers. Come to meet, munch and mingle with others of like precious faith.  There will be dancing, music, trivia, spoken word, laughs and more! It will be a great time of good ole wholesome entertainment and fun.

 

The excitement does not stop Friday night!  On Saturday we will convene at the Nassau County Bar Association for the This Kind of Faith Book Reading/Signing Brunch, which includes the Vision Writers Seminar.  This will be a great day of education and information.  Come experience an up close and personal author's book reading and signing event.  As an added bonus, participate in the Vision Writers Seminar designed for anyone interested in writing and/or publishing a book or other printed media materials.  Some of the seminar topics will consist of the following topics:

• ​​Book Writing & Publishing: Purpose or Pleasure?

• ​​An overview of the book industry

• The focus of a writer

• Today's Options in Book Publishing

 

The seminar will be followed by a panel discussion with published authors and experienced book industry practitioners, who are looking forward to educating and sharing their experiences, challenges, successes in order to help you avoid some literary pitfalls, overcome challenges and ultimately win at writing.  More details are soon to follow regarding our guest author line-up.

 

All guests attending the Friday and/or Saturday events are also extended a special the invitation to fellowship with the Perfecting Faith Church family on Sunday, March 22, 2015 for our 10:45 a.m. worship service.  You will encounter the presence of the Living God, your spirit will be feed and your soul impacted.  Immediately following the service there will be a book signing event with PFC's very own authors Robbyne Sudduth and Min. Joan-Lisa Shinault, sponsored by Scriptures Bookstore.

 

Scriptures will be highlighting a several female authors throughout the month of March, in honor of Women's History Month.  So come ready to be blessed by a great worship experience and the Word of God. I hope to see you some time during the weekend of this monumental occasion.  ~ Joan-Lisa
